HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian shares ended with mixed results on August 25 after a terrible loss one day earlier.
While the Hang Seng Index recovered 153.39 points to close at 21,404.96 in Hong Kong, the Nikkei 225 kept falling another 773.98 points to end at 17,806.7 in Tokyo.
The Shanghai Composite Index lost 244.94 points to end at 2,964.97 in mainland China.
Singapore's Straits Times Index added 41.81 points to end at 2,885.2.
In the local market, the VN Index gained 3.05 points to close at 529.98, and the HNX Index increased 0.94 points to close at 74.02. — VNS
