HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets ended higher on May 25.
The Hang Seng Index jumped 469.11 points to close at 27,992.83 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index added 156.20 points to close at 4,813.80 in mainland China.
Also gaining, the Nikkei 225 added 149.36 points to end at 20,413.77, while the Topix Index added 11.30 points to close at 1,659.15.
The Strait Times Index added 13.06 points to end at 3,463.24 in Singapore.
Two burses in Viet Nam ended up. The VN Index increased 1.18 points to close at 563.00, and the HNX Index added 0.70 points to close at 80.25 in Viet Nam.— VNS
