HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Asian shares ended higher on Friday. In Ha Noi, the HNX Index gained 0.58 points to close at 62.20, while the VN Index in HCM City added 2.23 points to finish on 494.66
In China, the benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) jumped 0.35 points to reach 2,029.42, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index (HSI) added 102.18 points to climb to 22,190.97. The Straits Times Index (STI) edged up 6.54 points to 3,249.8.
Investors in Japan also had a good day, with the Nikkei 225 (NKY) climbing 460.39 to end at 14,466.16, and the Topix Index (TPX) adding 32.78 points to close at 1,196.17. — VNS
