HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian indices ended on a mixed note on March 11.
The Nikkei 225 added 58.41points to close at 18,723.52, while the Topix Index gained 0.92 points to close at 1,525.67 in Tokyo.
Also gaining, the Shanghai Composite Index also increased 4.83 points to close at 3,290.90 in mainland China.
In contrast, the Hang Seng Index edged down 179.01 points to close at 23,717.97 in Hong Kong. The Straits Times Index also lost 18.69 points to end at 3,379.57 in Singapore.
However, the two bourses in Viet Nam also ended lower on the same day. The VN Index lost 3.12 points to close at 586.54, while the HNX slipped 0.35 points to finish at 86.01. —VNS
