HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Shares ended mixed across Asia on Wednesday. In Viet Nam, the HNX Index lost 0.06 points to end at 61.16 in the capital city, while the VN Index shed 1.55 points to end at 500.67 in HCM City.
Similarly, the Hang Seng Index (HSI) in Hong Kong declined 144.88 to close at 23,033.97.
However, the benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) closed up 13.57 points to reach 2,211.77 in China. The Straits Times Index (STI) in Singapore gained 8.34 points to finish at 3,154.8.
Tokyo also saw better results with the Nikkei 225 climbing 143.23 points to end at 14,037.84, and the Topix Index (TPX) gaining 16.77 points to finish at 1,166.90. — VNS
