HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Asian shares ended mixed on Monday. In Ha Noi, the HNX Index declined 0.31 points to close at 61.89, while the VN Index in HCM City lost one point to finish on 493.66
In China, the benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) jumped 21.06 points to reach 2,050.48, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index (HSI) added 31.04 points to climb to 22,222.01. The Straits Times Index (STI) lost 12.34 points to 3,241.8.
Investors in Japan also had a good day, with the Nikkei 225 (NKY) declining 208.12 to end at 14,258.04, and the Topix Index (TPX) losing 11.43 points to close at 1,184.74. — VNS
