HA NOI (Biz Hub) - Japan's Nikkei 225 index fell 174.41 on Thursday to 14,327.94, followed by the Topix Index (TPX) that finished down 10.24 points at 1,194.26 in Tokyo.
The Hang Seng Index (HSI) also lost ground, slipping 97.65 points to end at 23,206.37, while the benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) lost 18.85 points to close at 2,141.61 in China. The Straits Times Index (STI) in Singapore slipped 19.77 points to finish at 3,210.7.
In Viet Nam, the VN Index declined 1.66 points to end at 497.41 in HCM City, while the HNX Index was the only exception today, rising slightly by 0.05 points to end at 61.64 in the capital.— VNS
