HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian indices ended mixed while no change was seen in China on its National Day on Wednesday.
The Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong remained at 22,932.98 while the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China stayed at 2,363.87.
In Viet Nam, the two bourses closed higher, with the VN index adding 10.47 points to close at 609.27 and the HNX edging up by 1.11 points to finish at 89.73.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 closed down by 91.27 points to finish at 16,082.25, and the Topix Index lost 7.08 points to end at 1,318.21. In Singapore, the Straits Times Index edged down by 172.65 points to end at 3,264.09.-- VNS
