HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Asian share markets hovered between modest gains and losses on Thursday with advances in both Vietnamese share markets.
The HNX Index gained 0.64 points to end at 62.33 in Ha Noi, while in HCM City, the VN Index edged 4.65 points to close at 508.22
China's benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) slid 18.26 points, levelling at 2,081.88, while in Hong Kong the Hang Seng Index (HSI) climbed 0.25 points to 22,541.38. In Singapore, the Straits Times Index (STI) dropped 27.74 points to 3,220.9.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 (NKY) shed 279.22 points to 13,752.94 while the Topix Index (TPX) lost 19.52 points, closing the session at 1,151.82. — VNS
