HA NOI (Biz Hub) — At closing time on January 26, Asian markets reported mixed results.
The Hang Seng Index added 59.45 points to reach 24,909.90 in Hong Kong, and the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China increased by 31.42 points to close at 3,383.18.
On the other hand, the Nikkei 225 slipped 43.23 points to end at 17,468.52, while the Topix Index declined 1.14 points to close at 1,402.08 in Tokyo.
The Straits Times Index also dropped 14.20 points to end at 3,397.30 in Singapore.
The two bourses in Viet Nam also reflected mixed results on the same day. The VN Index lost 1.74 points to close at 580.64, while the HNX rose slightly by 0.24 points to finish at 87.01. — VNS
