HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets saw mixed closing outcomes on February 3.
The Hang Seng Index added 67.75 points to close at 24,552.49 in Hong Kong, and the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China increased 76.61 points to close at 3,204.91.
On the other hand, the Nikkei 225 fell 222.19 points to close at 17,335.85, while the Topix Index slipped 16.36 points to close at 1,392.39 in Tokyo.
The two bourses in Viet Nam also ended lower on the same day. The VN Index lost 12.90 points to close at 557.47, while the HNX shed 1.86 points to finish at 82.56.
The Straits Times Index also lost 15.33 points to end at 3,408.02 in Singapore. — VNS
