HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian shares ended lower on Thursday. In Ha Noi, the HNX Index lost 0.49 points to hit 64.53, while in HCM City the VN Index lost 3.86 points to close at 499,51.
In China, the Shanghai Composite Index lost 59.26 points, closing at 2,084.02, but the Hang Seng Index lost a further 604.02 points to finish at 20,382.87 in Hong Kong. Singapore shares were down with the Straits Times Index losing 80.53 points to drop to 3,133.26.
Tokyo's Nikkei 225 lost 230.64 points to end at 13,014.58 and the Topix index lost 14.76 points to 1,091.81. — VNS
