HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Hang Seng Index added 189.76 points to reach 23,971.87 in Hong Kong, and the Shanghai Composite Index also closed up 3.01 points to finish at 2,078.49 in mainland China.
The Straits Times Index added 23.79 points to stand at 3,340.7 in Singapore.
Meanwhile, the Nikkei 225 slipped 14.72 points to end at 15,328.56 and the Topix Index also closed down 0.88 points to end the day at 1,272.39 in Tokyo
The two bourses in Viet Nam ended the day on a mixed note. The VN index lost 0.48 points to close at 597.50 while the HNX added 0.09 points to close at 80.34 in the capital city.— VNS
