HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Hang Seng Index rose 64.49 points to reach 23,244.04, leading most Asian market gains on Friday.
The Nikkei 225 added 4.50 points to renew its six-year high at 16,178.94, while the Topix Index gained 10.73 points to end at 1,290.07 in Tokyo.
Meanwhile, the Shanghai Composite Index edged up 28.15 points to finish at 2,101.25 in mainland China, and the Straits Times Index rose 15.40 points to end at 3,149.8 in Singapore.
However, Viet Nam's two bourses ended lower. The VN Index lost 0.14 points at 506.41 and the Ha Noi HNX Index lost 0.17 points to end at 67.93 in the capital city. — VNS
