HA NOI (Biz Hub) —The Hang Seng Index added 398.62 points ending the day at 22,261.61 in Hong Kong, while the East Sea tension might cause further loss to Vietnamese indexes on May 12.
After falling to the lowest level in four months on May 8, the VN Index lost 25.41 points to end at 517.05 in HCM City, and the HNX Index lost 3.50 points to end at 70.69 in the capital city on Monday.
In China, the Shanghai Composite Index gained 41.74 points to end at 2,052.87.
The Nikkei 225 lost 50.07 points to end at 14,149.52 in Tokyo, where the Topix Index also edged down 7.60 points to end at 1,157.91.
