HA NOI( Biz Hub)—The Hang Seng Index lost 55 points to end at 22,510.08 in Hong Kong and was the leading loser amongst all indices in the Asian markets on April 4.
The Nikkei 225 slipped 8.11 points to close at 15,063.77, while the Topix Index also lost 0.88 points to finish at 1,215.89 in Tokyo.
On the other hand, the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China added 15.13 points to finish at 2,185.47.
In Southeast Asia, the Straits Times Index edged down 7.34 points to end the day at 3,212.7 in Singapore. The two bourses in Viet Nam witnessed a mixed trend. The VN Index added 3.60 points to close at 593.04 in HCM City, while the HNX Index declined 0.87 points to end at 86.76 in the capital city .— VNS
