HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The share prices in markets across the Asia-Pacific region ended mixed on November 5.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 approached the level of 17,000 by adding 74.85 points to reach 16,937.32, and the Topix Index gained 3.11 points to close at 1,371.76.
The Straits Times Index also added 5.97 points to end at 3,287.54 in Singapore.
Meanwhile, the Hang Seng Index lost 150.04 points to close at 23,695.62 in Hong Kong, and in mainland China, the Shanghai Composite Index shed 11.42 points to end at 2,419.25.
The two bourses in Viet Nam also fell the same day. The VN Index lost 1.38 points to stand at 597.01, and the HNX edged down by 0.03 points to finish at 88.68. — VNS
