HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Stock indexes across Asia ended mixed on July 16.
The Nikkei 225 fell by 6.56 points to end at 15,388 in Tokyo, and the Topix Index also slipped 0.09 points to close at 1,273.59.
The Hang Seng Index added 63.32 points to stand at 23,523.28 in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, the Shanghai Composite Index gained 3.08 points to finish at 2,067.11 in mainland China.
The Straits Times Index closed up 11.43 points to stand at 3,302.8 in Singapore, while the two bourses in Viet Nam closed mixed. The VN Index added 0.37 points to finish at 589.68 in HCM City, but the HNX Index lost 0.07 points to end at 80.16 in the capital city. — VNS
