HA NOI ( Biz Hub) — The Nikkei 225 lost 123.61 points to finish at 14,388.77 in Tokyo, while the Topix Index slipped 8.90 points to finish at 1,162.50 on April 22.
After the weekend holiday, the Hang Seng Index lost 29.56 points to finish at 22,730.68 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China gained 7.01 points to finish at 2,072.83.
The Straits Times Index added 18.28 points to end the day at 3,274.1 in Singapore. Both the bourses in Vietnam ended higher. The VN Index gained 11.73 points to close at 569.87 in HCM City, and the HNX Index added 1.99 points to end at 80.86 in the capital city. — VNS
