HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets ended on a mixed note on January 13.
The Hang Seng Index climbed 189.51 points to reach 24,215.97 in Hong Kong, and the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China added 5.99 points to close at 3,235.30.
Two bourses in Viet Nam ended higher on the same day. The VN Index added 6.28 points to close at 580.60, and the HNX gained 0.46 points to finish at 85.18.
The Nikkei 225 lost 110.02 points to end at 17,087.71, and the Topix Index slipped 5.89 points to close at 1,374.69 in Tokyo. The Straits Times Index also declined 3.28 points to end at 3,341.07 in Singapore. — VNS
