HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Nikkei 225 lost 141.03 points to finish at 14,288.23 in Tokyo, leading the losing indices in the Asian market on April 28.
The Topix Index also slipped 9.25 points to finish at 1,160.74.
The Hang Seng Index lost 91.00 points to end the day at 22,132.53 in Hong Kong.
In China, the Shanghai Composite Index edged down 33.03 points to finish at 2,003.49, and the Straits Times Index lost 24.86 points to end at 3,242.7 in Singapore.
In Viet Nam, the VN Index fell by 5.82 points to close at 573.10 in HCM City, and the HNX Index lost 0.93 points to end at 79.65 in the capital city. — VNS
