HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Nikkei 225 fell below the 15,000 threshold again, dropping 393.72 points to close at 14,830.39 on March 12.
The Topix Index too slipped 26.27 points to close at 1,206.94 points in Tokyo.
The Hang Seng Index lost 367.66 points to end at 21,901.95 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China declined 3.47 points to finish at 1,997.69.
Sharing the same fate, the Straits Times Index fell 31.97 points to close at 3,097.43 points in Singapore, while the two bourses in Viet Nam ended mixed. The VN Index added 1.52 points to reach 590.02 in HCM City, but the HNX Index edged down 0.47 points to close at 83.17 points in the capital city of Viet Nam. — VNS
