HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Nikkei 225 Index fell 424.06 points to finish at 14,033.45 in Tokyo, where the Topix Index also lost 30.47 points to finish at 1,152.01 on May 7.
The Hang Seng Index dropped 230.07 points to finish at 21,746.26 in Hong Kong. In China, the Shanghai Composite Index edged down 17.96 points to finish at 2,010.08.
In Singapore, the Straits Times Index also fell 8.99 points to finish at 3,236.6.
On the other hand, both bourses in Viet Nam saw gain. The VN Index added 4.86 points to finish at 559.97 in HCM City, and the HNX Index gained 0.01 points to finish at 76.56 in the capital city. — VNS
