HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Nikkei 225 added 34 points to finish at 14,636.52 in Tokyo, and the Topix Index also gained 0.42 points to end the day at 1,195.11 on May 27.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 18.88 points to finish at 22,944.30, while the Shanghai Composite Index lost 6.91 points to finish at 2,034.57 on mainland China.
The Straits Times Index also edged down 8.82 points to reach 3,274.06 in Singapore.
Meanwhile, two bourses in Viet Nam gained. The VN Index added 8.69 points to close at 552.75 in HCM City, while the HNX Index increased 1.97 points to end at 76.85 in the capital city.— VNS
