HA NOI (Biz Hub) —The Nikkei 225 added 140.35 points to finish at 14,602.52 in Tokyo and the Topix Index also gained 14.25 points to end the day at 1,194.69 on May 26.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 2.68 points to finish at 22,963.18 while the Shanghai Composite Index added 6.91 points to finish at 2,041.48 in mainland China.
The Straits Times Index edged up 4.86 points to reach 3,282.88 in Singapore.
Two bourses in Viet Nam also ended higher . The VN Index gained 2.57 points to close at 544.06 in HCM City, while the HNX Index added 0.30 points to reach 74.88 in the capital city. — VNS
