HA NOI (Biz Hub) —The Nikkei 225 added 124.38 points to finish at 14,462.17 in Tokyo and the Topix Index also gained 11.10 points to end the day at 1,180.44 on May 23.
The Hang Seng Index increased by 12.10 points to finish at 22,965.86, while the Shanghai Composite Index added 13.28 points to finish at 2,034.57 in mainland China.
The Straits Times Index edged up 12.36 points to reach 3,278.0 in Singapore.
Meanwhile, the two bourses in Viet Nam saw little change. The VN Index slipped by 0.24 points to close at 541.49 in HCM City, while the HNX Index remained at 74.58 in the capital city. — VNS
