HA NOI (Biz Hub) —The Hang Seng Index added 130.18 points to end the day at 22,834.68 in Hong Kong, leading the Asian markets on May 20.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 gained 68.81 points to finish at 14,075.25 in Tokyo, while the Topix Index gained 3.31 points to finish at 1,153.38.
The Shanghai Composite Index advanced by 2.94 points to finish at 2,008.12 in mainland China, while the Straits Times Index climbed 3.04 points to reach 3,265.5 in Singapore.
The two bourses in Viet Nam closed up. The VN Index added 4.48 points to close at 537.52 in HCM City, and the HNX Index gained 1.08 points to end at 73.73 in the capital city.— VNS
