HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets closed up on February 12, with the exception of Singapore, which lost 25.40 points to end at 3,419.17.
The Nikkei 225 climbed 327.04 points to reach 17,979.72, while the Topix Index gained 21.67 points to close at 1,449.39 in Tokyo.
The Hang Seng Index rose by 107.13 points to close at 24,422.15 in Hong Kong.
The Shanghai Composite Index edged up 15.71 points to close at 3,173.42 in mainland China.
Viet Nam's two bourses also ended higher on the same day. The VN Index gained 2.91 points to close at 584.67, while the HNX added 0.25 points to finish at 84.72. — VNS
