HA NOI ( Biz Hub) — The Nikkei 225 slipped 0.15 points to finish at 14,417.53 in Tokyo, while the Topix Index added 0.04 points to finish at 1,166.59 on April 17.
The Hang Seng Index gained 64.23 points to end at 22,760.24 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China lost 6.24 points to finish at 2,098.85.
The Straits Times Index added 0.60 to reach 3,253.8 in Singapore and both the bourses in Vietnam ended higher. The VN Index added 6.02 points to close at 580.31 in HCM City, while the HNX Index gained 0.99 points to end at 83.60 in the capital city. — VNS
