HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Hang Seng Index closed down 386.53 points to end at 21,182.16 in Hong Kong, leading the losers in the Asian market on March 20.
The Japanese Nikkei 225 closed down 238.29 points to finish at 14,224.23, while the Topix Index slipped 18.36 points to close at 1,145.97 in Tokyo.
The Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China declined 28.29 points to close at 1,993.48. The Straits Times Index lost 23.52 points to end at 3,057.2 in Singapore.
The VN Index lost 5.33 points to end at 600.26 in HCM City, but the HNX Index gained 0.02 points to reach 89.70 in the capital city of Viet Nam. — VNS
