HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Hang Seng Index added 254.54 points to end at 21,436.70 in Hong Kong, leading the Asian markets on March 21.
The Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China gained 54.14 points to close at 2,047.62. The Straits Times Index also edged up 16.19 points to end at 3,073.4 in Singapore.
The VN Index gained 1.49 points to finish at 601.75 in HCM City and the HNX Index added 0.66 points to reach 90.36 in the capital city of Viet Nam.
As Japan was closed for the Spring Equinox Day, the Nikkei 225 remained at 14,224.23 and the Topix Index stayed at 1,145.97 in Tokyo. — VNS
