HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Share markets cast a gloomy shadow on Thursday with Asian markets settling on lows across the board.
The Hang Seng Index (HSI) led the list with 155.91 points lower to end at 22,881.03. In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 slipped 108.87 points to 14,228.44 while the Topix Index (TPX) lost 7.43 points to end at 1,184.73.
The benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) lost a total of 10.21 points stopping at 2,129.40 while in Singapore, the Straits Times Index (STI) declined 6.00 points to finish at 3,199.3.
In the local markets, the VN Index lost 2.66 points to end at 499.86 in HCM City, while Viet Nam's capital city saw the HNX Index decline 0.12 points to end at 63.15. — VNS
