HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian indices ended lower on March 10, with the exception of the exchanges in Viet Nam.
The Nikkei 225 lost 125.44 points to close at 18,665.11, while the Topix Index slipped 7.01 points to close at 1,524.75 in Tokyo.
The Hang Seng Index edged down 226.07 points to close at 23,896.98 in Hong Kong and the Shanghai Composite Index also slid16.34 points to close at 3,286.07 in mainland China.
The Straits Times Index also lost 8.53 points to end at 3,396.04 in Singapore.
However, the two bourses in Viet Nam ended higher on the same day. The VN Index added 1.22 points to close at 589.66, while the HNX also gained 0.47 points to finish at 86.36. —VNS
