HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian indices closed up on April 2.
The Hang Seng Index added 192.89 points to reach 25,275.64 in Hong Kong, and the other index in the country, the Shanghai Composite Index also increased 15.49 points to close at 3,825.78 in mainland China.
The Nikkei 225 added 277.95 points to close at 19,034.84, while the Topix Index was up 25.18 points to end at 1,554.17 in Tokyo.
The Straits Times Index edged up 6.73 points to end at 3,453.75 in Singapore
The two bourses in Viet Nam ended higher on the same day. The VN Index added 7.94 points to close at 546.85, while the HNX also rose 1.13 points to finish at 81.60. — VNS
