HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Nikkei 225 added 100.94 points to finish at 15,314.57 and the Topix Index closed up 8.37 points to end the day at 1,270.50 on August 14.
The VN Index added 2.49 points to close at 605.25 and the HNX increased by 0.13 points to stand at 81.95 in the capital city.
Meanwhile, the Hang Seng Index lost 88.98 points to end at 24,801.36 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index lost 16.41 points to finish at 2,206.47 in mainland China. The Straits Times Index also slipped by 6.58 points to end the day at 3,294.8 in Singapore. — VNS
