HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Hang Seng Index led the Asian market on August 4 gaining 67.65 points to reach 24,600.08 in Hong Kong.
The Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China also added 38.03 points to finish at 2,223.33.
Two bourses ended higher in Viet Nam. The VN index gained 5.14 points to close at 599.04 and the HNX added 0.52 points to reach 79.53 in the capital city.
Meanwhile, the Nikkei 225 lost 48.61 points to end at 15,474.50 and the Topix Index slipped 5.11 points to end the day at 1,276.19.
The Straits Times Index also decreased 26.02 points to end the day at 3,318.40 in Singapore. — VNS
