HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets ended higher on January 28, except the Shanghai Composite Index .
The Nikkei 225 added 27.43 points to reach 17,795.73, while the Topix Index added 3.54 points to close at 1,429.92 in Tokyo.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index increased by 21.45 points to close at 24,828.73 and the Straits Times Index added 6.95 points to end at 3,419.15 in Singapore.
The two bourses in Viet Nam ended higher on the same day. The VN Index added 4.46 points to close at 583.76, while the HNX gained 1.14 points to finish at 87.23.
On the other hand, the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China lost 47.22 points to stand at 3,305.74.— VNS
