HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The major Asian indexes ended mixed on October 21.
The Nikkei 225 fell 2.38 per cent by losing 306.95 points to finish at a two-month low of 14,804.28, and the Topix Index lost 18.98 points to end the day at 1,205.36.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index added 18.32 points to close the day at 23,088.58, while in China, the Shanghai Composite Index declined 17.07 points to close at 2,339.66.
The Straits Times Index closed up 21.69 points to end the day at 3,202.74 in Singapore.
The VN Index climbed 11.31 points to close at 600.55, and the HNX edged down 0.28 points to finish at 87.00. — VNS
