HA NOI (Biz Hub) ─ The losers continued to outnumber the gainers in Asian stock markets on Tuesday.
In Japan, the Tokyo Stock Exchange Tokyo Price Index lost 1.03 points to close at 1,330.88, and the Nikkei 225 dropped by 115.27 points to end at 16,205.90.
Viet Nam's VN-Index fell by 1.54 points to finish at 610.39 on the HCM City Stock Exchange, and the HNX-Index closed down 0.48 point to stand at 87.75 on the Ha Noi bourse.
In China, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index gained 19.85 points to close at 2,309.72, while the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index lost 118.42 points to end at 23,837.07.
Singapore's Straits Times Index edged up 1.66 points to close at 3,298.23. ─ VNS
