HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Vietnamese share market yesterday bucked the declining trend of other major Asian markets to end higher.
The VN index increased by 3.18 points to close at 629.06, and the HNX rose by 0.89 points to finish at 85.69. Meanwhile, the Nikkei 225 fell by 92.03 points to 15,521.22, and the Topix Index closed 6.30 points down to end the day at 1,285.01
The Hang Seng Index lost 92.41 points to finish at 25074. 50 in Hong Kong while the Shanghai Composite Index declined by 22.17 points to finish at 2,207.11 in mainland China. The Straits Times Index slipped by 6.82 points to end the day at 3,323.5 in Singapore. — VNS
