HA NOI ( Biz Hub) — The Nikkei 225 jumped 157.50 points to finish at 14,546.27 in Tokyo, while the Topix Index also gained 11.31 points to finish at 1,173.81 on April 23.
Meanwhile, the Hang Seng Index lost 221.04 points to finish at 22,509.64 in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite Index in mainland China fell by 4.45 points to finish at 2,067.38.
The Straits Times Index edged down 19.52 points to end at 3,258.0 in Singapore. The VN Index lost 0.51 points to close at 569.36 in HCM City, and the HNX Index slipped 0.96 points to end at 79.90 in the capital city. — VNS
