HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Japanese stocks declined on Tuesday with the Nikkei 225 slipping 103.89 points to 15,515.24, and the Topix Index (TPX) losing 6.59 points to end at 1,253.02 in Tokyo.
The Hang Seng Index (HSI) dropped 3.17 points to end at 23,681.28, while the benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) lost 3.04 points to close at 2,183.07. The Straits Times Index (STI) also declined 8.44 points to finish at 3,172.2 in Singapore.
However, in the local market, the VN Index added 2.70 points to end at 509.16 in HCM City, and the HNX Index rose 0.07 points to end at 64.90.— VNS
