HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets ended on a mixed note on April 24.
The Hang Seng Index added 233.28 points to reach 28,060.98 in Hong Kong and the Strait Times Index rose 2.35 points to end at 3,505.10 in Singapore.
At the same time, the Nikkei 225 lost 167.61 points to close at 20,020.04, while the Topix Index decreased 16.03 points to end at 1,618.84 in Tokyo.
The Shanghai Composite Index lost 20.82 points to close at 4,393.69 in mainland China.
The two bourses in Viet Nam also ended on a mixed note on the same day. The VN Index gained 4.52 points to close at 565.77 and the HNX Index decreased 0.07 points to end the day at 82.58. — VNS
