HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian indices ended on a mixed note on March 31.
The Hang Seng Index added 45.77 points to close at 24,900.89 in Hong Kong.
Viet Nam's bourses also closed higher on the same day. The VN Index gained 5.94 points to close at 551.13, while the HNX also added 0.69 points to finish at 82.27.
On the other hand, the Nikkei 225 lost 204.41 points to close at 19,206.99 and the Topix Index slipped 14.66 points to end at 1,543.11 in Tokyo.
The Shanghai Composite Index decreased by 38.67 points to close at 3,747.90 in mainland China, while the Straits Times Index slipped 6.49 points to end at 3,447.77 in Singapore —VNS
