The 26th Viet Nam International Jewelry Fair 2017 (VIJF) - the largest gem and jewelry show in the country - will be held from November 8 to 12 in HCM City.

Over 200 domestic and foreign enterprises, including some jewelry brands from European countries, Thailand, India and Singapore, have registered to attend this year’s fair

Dao Cong Thang, SJC’s deputy general director, said that over its 25 years, the fair has become the traditional festival of the gem and jewelry industry, a reliable destination for businesses to seek opportunities for cooperation and introduce new products.

Display categories at the fair will include domestic and international jewelry, diamonds, precious stones, semiprecious stones, machinery and equipment display booths, jewelry technology, after-sales and warranty services, and business negotiation services.

VIJF 2017 will also offer promotional programmes and opportunities for consumers to shop.

In the future, the organisers expect to hold VIJF twice a year and expand to other provinces and cities such as Can Tho and Ha Noi to provide opportunities for enterprises nationwide to participate. The goal is to enable consumers to purchase high-quality gemstones and products made from modern techniques and technologies, Thang added.

This year, the fair will take place in Phu Tho Exhibition Centre, No 221 Ly Thuong Kiet Street, District 11, HCM City. — VNS
