The 25th Vietnam International Trade Fair or Vietnam Expo 2015 has attracted the participation of more than 500 international and local enterprises.

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — More than 500 foreign and local enterprises have registered to participate in the 25th Vietnam International Trade Fair or Vietnam Expo 2015.

The event will be organised from April 15 to 18 at the Vietnam Exhibition-Fair Centre and will be sponsored by the industry and trade ministry.

Being held under the theme "Viet Nam - Enhancing Co-operation in ASEAN Economic Community," the fair is expected to have 600 booths of companies from 25 countries and territories such as the United States, Russia, Taiwan and Spain, besides China and Cuba.

Products from seven industrial sectors will be displayed at the fair, including equipment and machinery, electronics, construction and building materials, as well as food and beverages.

Trade promotion programmes will be held in the framework of the event, such as seminars on export promotion, and on trade promotion between Vietnamese and international enterprises.

The Vietnam Expo aims to support enterprises, investors and economic organisations in Viet Nam as well as abroad in looking for opportunities in export and commercial exchange and investment and technological transfer, besides economic co-operation. — VNS
