HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The 5th Annual Nuclear Power Asia Conference and Exhibition will bring hundreds of participants in the nuclear power industry to Ha Noi in January.

Scheduled to take place in Ha Noi's Melia Hotel from January 20-22, 2014, Vietnam Nuclear Power Asia is the conference for regulators, nuclear energy agencies and operators in the Asian region.

The event will be hosted by Vietnam's Nuclear Power Operator, Electricity of Vietnam, with support from the Vietnam Atomic Energy Agency (VAEA), the World Nuclear Association, Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), and Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute (VINATOM).

Also, an exhibition taking place during the conference will provide delegates with an overview of the latest technologies and solutions available for nuclear power plants, as well as seeking to increase the safety and efficiency of nuclear power operations.

Nuclear Power Asia 2013 saw 193 participants from 93 companies and 21 countries in attendance. Now in its fifth year, with 300 expected attendees and more than 20 exhibitors covering the entire nuclear power generation supply chain, the 2014 Nuclear Power Asia is expected to once again be the region's premier conference and exhibition for the nuclear power community. — VNS
