The Homeland Security Expo 2018, an international exhibition on homeland security, counter terrorism and police work, will be held in Ha Noi on October 3-4.

The event will host companies and agencies from leading countries in the security and defense sectors, including Russia, the US, India, France, Denmark, the UK, South Korea, Japan, Ukraine, Israel, Singapore, China and Viet Nam.

The exhibition, co-organised by Nexgen Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd and EIFEC Company Limited and Ministry of Public Security, aims to introduce solutions, equipment and technology for the security and defense sectors, said Nguyen Dinh Long, director of the EIFEC Company.

“This is the only international exhibition in the field of security organized in Viet Nam,” he said.

“Techniques and devices for security and defense have been increasingly improved around the world. The exhibition helps update domestic security forces and earn more experience to prevent new crimes.”

The organisers also expect the expo to provide an opportunity for participants to exchange experiences and technology, while introducing their products to potential customers.

It aims to provide a foundation connecting producers and distributors and to enable domestic and international enterprises to boost co-operation, share experience and transfer technology.

The Homeland Security Expo will focus on biometrics, radar technology, weapons, rescue devices, disaster control measures and armored vehicles.

Following the success of two previous events, the exhibition will be organised at the International Centre for Exhibitions, 91 Tran Hung Dao Street, Ha Noi. — VNS
