HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Internet Day 2013 will be held on December 4 in Ha Noi, aiming to raise awareness of the government's policies to manage and improve internet access for people across the country.
The event, organised by the Viet Nam Internet Association, includes conferences and exhibitions on online achievements and future trends.
Association chairman Vu Hoang Lien said the event was a good opportunity to spread internet access to every area of the country, including remote ones.
The organising board launched a photo contest on how internet has changed life in the Vietnamese countryside with entrants able to submit photos until November 30.
The award ceremony will take place on December 4. — VNS
