HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Singapore - Da Nang Infrastructure Investment Forum 2016 will be held in central Da Nang City on June 23 and June 24, 2016.

The forum is organised to profile Da Nang to Singapore-based companies with the recently announced 19 infrastructure projects for which the city requires collaboration with international partners.

The forum will comprise contractors, infrastructure service providers, investors, consultants and local government officials. It is expected to help participants interact and form collaborations to develop their business interest in Da Nang as the gateway to Viet Nam.

Singapore ranks third among 101 countries and territories investing in Viet Nam. According to a report released in December 2015 by the Foreign Investment Agency (FIA) under the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment. Singapore has so far invested in 18 out of 21 sectors in Viet Nam, focusing on the processing industry, manufacturing and real estate. The projects are distributed across 44 out of 63 provinces and cities, including offshore oil and gas areas.

The forum will focus on three key sectors including public infrastructure, tourism development and education service. — VNS
